Ivan Randall
Ivan Randall grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa, immersed in a family that valued sports, mechanics and hard work. Weekends spent boating and wakeboarding sparked his lifelong love for the water, while hands-on time with his father ignited his passion for mechanics.
Starting his career at Audi, Ivan quickly advanced from apprentice to award-winning diagnostic technician. Later, he gained further experience working with heavy equipment, honing his technical skills. Today, he brings his expertise and dedication to the yachting industry, where his focus on safety, efficiency, and personable nature make him a valuable asset. His journey led him to the yachting industry, where he could merge his love for water and engineering. Ivan’s work ethic focuses on ensuring safety and efficiency, complemented by his engaging personality and love for connecting with people.

Monja JACOBS
Monja grew up in Northeast South Africa in a town called Nelspruit, on the border of the Kurger National Park. Her childhood circled around nature & wildlife, as she spent her winters enjoying safaris and summers on the Mozambican coast.
After grade school, Monja moved to the Western Cape of SA and attended the University of Stellenbosch for law and accounting. It was there where she developed a greater passion for the outdoors, arts and gastronomy. After successfully procuring her Bachelor's degree-she set her eyes on finding a career that suited her personality and aligned with her passions. The world of yachting had caught her eye.
Monja started yachting as a sous chef, learning under some of the best charter chefs in the industry. Throughout her many years cooking on yachts, Monja has developed a refined, artistic and fresh cooking style. She has taken various intensive culinary courses and has a true passion for Asian and Mediterranean cuisine. Monja's attention to detail and ability to use the freshest ingredients in all areas of the world, ensures each meal to be filled with flavor, delight, and appreciation. Her calm and collected persona make her an advantageous crew member onboard Birdy.

Growing up in a small beach town on South Africa’s coast, Warren developed a deep love for the ocean and watersports early on. Naturally drawn to yachting, he’s now been thriving and innovating in the industry for over a decade.
Starting his journey in Fort Lauderdale, Warren rose from Deckhand to Captain, gaining eight years of experience managing successful programs for South Florida yacht owners. With a background across various vessels, he’s dedicated to ensuring guest satisfaction and matching clients with their ideal yacht. Known for his attention to detail and commitment to excellence, Warren ensures both a fun and safe experience on Birdy.

Cameron Green
A coastal Cape Town native, Cameron Green was born with an innate love for watersports, thanks to his parents who were both sponsored, professional water skiers. As a competitive stand-up paddleboarder when he was in high school, he eventually made his way into the yachting industry.
With a degree in Graphic Design from Pearson University, Cam decided to combine his passion for photography, videography, and watersports in a career on the water. Now as First Mate with a 200GT captain’s license, he’s traveled the Caribbean, Bahamas, and U.S. East Coast. Known for his calm, friendly demeanor, Cam’s expert coaching and love for capturing moments on camera make him a favorite among guests and crew on Birdy.

Abby has always been drawn to people, experiences, and creativity, qualities that now shape the way she welcomes guests onboard Birdy. With a background in marketing and brand strategy, she’s skilled at coordinating seamlessly with suppliers, managing events, and adding creative flair to design. These many skills have transferred naturally into the busy and often unpredictable world of yachting, where Abby combines professionalism with a personal touch.
Alongside her career in yachting, Abby is also a certified health coach, bringing her passion for wellness into everything she does
She has worked on yachts ranging from 115’ to 236’, chartering in the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and U.S. East Coast. Guests know her for her warm, adaptable nature and her genuine passion for creating unforgettable experiences.
